Jumpin’ Jack Splash!

July 21st, 2008 , Posted in family, love, motherhood

While I was at my shoot (seen below) Jackson got to hang with Nana and Papa.. Seeing as it was 95 degree with 90% humidity it was a hot one… So I lathered him up with sunscreen armed with his swim shirt, bathing suit and hat before I headed out and left them to fight the sticky, hot weather war!  Nana and Papa got this for Jack last year but he was still a bit tiny — I’m so glad they busted it out over the weekend as you can see he LOVED it!  Nana and Papa captured some shots of the Jumpin’ Jack Splash man enjoying the water… So glad we got to see his expressions even though we weren’t there!  Looks like he liked it ‘eh!? :)

Papa has a little pond in the back of the house with NEMO in it!! Can you believe it!  Okay, maybe not Nemo but Jackson thinks Nemo lives there – all five of them!  One of his favorite things to do is FEED NEMO!  He loves to throw the food in — They love it too — So much they they expected it now anytime anyone comes near the pond!  Thanks Jackson. :)

thanks for checking in!

stay cool….

little southern belle!

Oh how I love this little one!  I had the honor of photographing Ms. L last year – you might remember her cute little face from here…

I love love love when I get to photograph repeat clients – It’s so much fun to see how they all change and grow up to become their own little spirits!  Little Ms. L was no exception – Oh how the tickle monster broke out the giggles… all I had to say was ‘I’m going to get you…’ and the smiles and giggles just poured out!  I love sessions like this – Short of the HORRIBLE bug bites I know we all got (so sorry guys!!) It was perfect and so much fun!

Ms. L’s grandmother MAKES clothes can you believe it!  That is like another language for me so I was very impressed! She had wanted to make this dress for a long time for Ms. L – isn’t it just the cutest!  Mom said she used to make her clothes when she was little too – Nothing like a little southern belle!  (transported to Boston of course!)  I adore moms accent (she’s from down south!) and its clear where this peanut gets her good looks from!

Can you just hear the giggle?!

I love the black and white in this shot too…

too cute!

that little face! Don’t you want to pinch her cheeks!

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak – I’ll let you know as soon as the rest of your gallery is up.  Enjoy the time with your family visiting…I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Hugs,

“They’re two …they’re four… they’re six… they’re eight”

All you moms and dads know those lyrics….. It’s the Thomas the Train theme song of course!!

Here is a slideshow from the big day…  Talk about excited… Jackson was OVER-THE-MOON!

He kept yelling out – ‘All Aboard” when we were on the 20 minute train ride ON thomas! It was so funny!

The day before we headed to Storyland to kill some time before our hotel was ready and jackson had a BLAST!  He went on so many rides with Uncle Randy and Daddy.. Scared-y cat mommy waited and took pictures of course :)

More to come…

Hugs,
K

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful girl as she is planning to get some headshots out there for her amazing acting career!  You might remember, I photographed her brothers senior portraits and her families family portraits back in the fall – now I got the chance to work with just her – all by herself!  What a joy it was – and hopefully not too painful :)  Trust me, you’ll see the face on the big screen one day – with a great heart and a love for acting – she’ll be going far for sure :)

Maura – here is your sneak peak – I’ll let you know as soon as the rest are ready for you…
Thanks for spending a hot and muggy evening with me!  You made my job easy and fun!!

I hope you like your shots!
