Yes, I know.  You are thinking its WAY too early to be thinking about holiday cards but guess what… There is only 121 days until Christmas! Can you believe that?  (Which means there really aren’t that many days until we meet our new little blessing Ms. Molly in 7 weeks!! YIKES!)

Anyways –  With the holidays approaching quicker then we’d like to believe, its time for the holiday mini sessions to get those holiday cards all set to go!  Just think – you could have your holiday cards all ready to go before the chaos of the holidays really sets in!  This is a perfect way to get the family shot you’ve been hoping for to hang in your living room, or the picture of the kids to remind all your friends and family from out of town just how fast time flies!  Holiday cards that are custom made for your family are always so much more fun to share with your loved ones.

Below is the information about the sessions but remember to book early as these sessions will fill quickly!  I will be debuting some sample custom cards over the next few weeks as well!

As a reminder-  I WILL BE ON MATERNITY LEAVE ONCE MOLLY ARRIVES WHICH IS CLOSE TO THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!! So if you’d like to book any sessions please do so ASAP.  These will be the only two days I can offer the holiday mini’s so don’t miss out!!

I had a session this afternoon with one of my favorite clients – my good friend Ms. Keri!  Can you believe another Keri – spelled the same way, who was also a teacher, who lived in the same town (at the time we met,) who was taking a photography class, and who has super cute kids?!?!?! I know, crazy, right!?

Well, since we first met, Keri and I just clicked – it was clear that we had a lot in common and would definitely continue our friendship outside of the 5 week class we were in!  Thank goodness too because this little lady has sent me so many other awesome clients — I guess what they say is true… guilty by association!  Awesome friend referrs awesome people – Love you for that Keri!

At any rate – we headed to one of my favorite places this afternoon to do a shoot with her kids since it had been a year since I last photographed them.. way too long!  Lynch Park is definitely a favorite spot of mine to shoot all kinds of sessions – engagement to kids it just works! so many options  With a beautiful summer day we got to play on the beach and play in the grass.. it was great!

What an amazingly beautiful place we live in… It’s easy to forget sometimes and (shamefully) take it for granted, but every once and a while I get the chance to really look around and realize just how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place!  Tonight was one of those nights.. 
I got to spend the evening light with an awesome family who live right near the ocean.. With dad as a lobsterman it was no question that we’d be taking our pictures by the water!  We headed to Fort Sewall in Marblehead and boy is that place cool! I can’t wait to go back for other shoots – Thank you guys for showing me the way!
With an adorable mom and dad, how could you go wrong — I know teenage boys *loooove* having their picture taken but these guys were troopers and made it through!  Rumor is that one of them even asked when they could have a family picture since they didn’t really have any around the house!! If you were my son, you’d be scoring BIG points for that! hehe… Thanks for sending me home with goodies from your garden too – I love my clients – they even give me fresh vegetables!!!! I’m so lucky!!
Thank you guys again for such a fun evening — I hope it wasn’t too painful for you!  We’ll be in touch when the rest of your images are ready…

I grew up on the Dave Matthews Band and all my friends and family can attest to the crazy drives and concert goings over the years… Although after having Jackson my concert days have been more limited, I still enjoy the music and will always love the memories and friendships I have because of them… Sad news came yesterday when I heard that Leroi Moore, the sax player for the band, passed away unexpectedly in L.A.  You can read the news here…

Thoughts and prayers to those affected by this sad sad news…DMB will never be the same…
