Fenway Park. Nothin’ like it.

September 27th, 2008 , Posted in friends, photography

******PLEASE NOTE!!!! I HAVE A LOT OF BACK BLOGGING I WILL BE POSTING OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS… PLEASE SEE THE DATE AT THE TOP OF EACH POST WHICH CORRESPONDS TO WHAT DAY WE DID SOMETHING!*******

Wednesday, September 10th.

We were so excited to spend the day with our good friend and O.A.R.’s sax player,  Jerry.  Not only was it Rick’s birthday, but Jerry was flying in because he was asked to play the National Anthem at Fenway Park!!! Jerry has been a long time Red Sox fan so this even more then just an honor!!  We packed up Jackson and headed to the airport early in the morning to pick up Jerry.  After a short drive through the city we were on a guided tour all around Fenway and got to see the ins and outs of all the cool spots!  Needless to say Rick, Jerry and I thought it was pretty cool!  Jackson – yeah – he’ll think the pictures are cool in years to come!  After our tour Jerry was allowed to sound check on the field for a few minutes before we headed out… While Jerry was sound checking – Jackson decided to RUN ONTO THE FIELD!?!?!  Good thing Rick is faster then I am and picked him up before he did some damage — Jackson knows I can’t move that fast lately!

It was so cool to see Rick and Jackson together at Fenway – Granted they won’t go to Jackson’s first game for a few years or so, but looking around and being able to be on the field was so awesome!

We headed back home after that so Jackson could nap and stay with Papa while Jerry, Rick and I all headed back into the city for the game!  We headed back out onto the field and got to watch Jerry play a fantastic version of the Nation Anthem!  I snapped some shots for him and of course of Jackson’s favorite — WALLY!! We stayed for the game, but unfortunately with this pregnant Mama sitting in those chairs – I made the boys leave when it went into overtime!  Good thing because it went until 1am!!!! We left around 10:30pm – Oh how I would have been cranky!!! :)

Jerry – We are so proud of you – You did such an amazing job!

Thank you for being such a good friend to us!! We love you!!!

xoxo

Green Meadows Farm – Preschool Outing!

September 27th, 2008 , Posted in uncategorized

Saturday, September 20th.

Jackson had a preschool outing at Green Meadow Farm in Hamilton today. It was organized by his school and was a great place for all the kids.  There were hayrides, pony rides (so funny!) picnicing, all kinds of animals and games for the children to play.   We got there a bit early and didn’t stay too long but Jackson sure had fun while he was there.  He couldn’t get over all the pigs playing in the mud… He kept saying ‘Ppppeeeewwwwwwww Mama!!’  He was right. It was S.M.E.L.L.Y. haha.  Mimi and Kelly came along to keep up with the busy little man – Mimi even waited in line for the pony ride while Jackson went on the hayride with me and Kelly – What a good Mimi!!! :)

Thank you to all the staff and families that coordinated this event.  We look forward to doing more of them and hopefully seeing more of Jackson’s classmates!

Can I keep them?!

September 21st, 2008 , Posted in photography

Oh my goodness!  These two little girls were so much fun!  I just wanted to scoop them up and put them in my pocket – I imagine mom and dad love playing with them too otherwise I know Jackson would have loved if I brought them home!  They were full of giggles and smiles, questions and silliness – Just the kind of sessions I love!  With lots of energy and lots of smiles how can you go wrong!

I’ll keep the writing short and just let the images speak for themselves… You can almost hear their giggle through the images, right?!
Thanks for hanging out with me tonight girls -I hope you had as much fun as I did!  Mom, we’ll be in touch soon as soon as your gallery is ready!

Hugs,
Keri :)

I love that they seemed like the best of friends!!

Here come the giggles!!!

Isn’t that face just too much!! I love it!

These two were just hamming it up all over the place!  So much fun!! :)

Hope to see you guys again soon!!!

so fresh and new.

Perhaps its because I’m about to have (another) one of my own (hopefully SOON!) – or maybe its just something that has always been in me – but for whatever reason, I have been noticing how struck I am by the amazing gift of a newborn.  I am in love with them… I have always loved newborns but lately I’ve had a few newborn sessions and have been thinking about how beautiful they really are.

The newness of their skin, their stunning little eyes, the thought that they are so pure and fresh just waiting to be filled with love and happiness… they are a true blessing in this world and what a beautiful way to start out, don’t you think!
Well this little one was NO exception – stunning at just a few weeks old, (no wonder after you see see her mom!!) with the most perfect little face and perfect little hands and feet!  I wanted to sneak her in my camera bag and bring her home with me – then I remembered when I couldn’t get a shot I wanted because MY OWN soon-to-be-newborn was in the way :) So I decided to let her stay with her mom and dad!  She was such a trooper too – Most newborns snooze away through their whole session, but this little one was wide-eyed and watching our every move!  I love when I get to see their pretty little eyes wide open :)
I had so much fun with you guys yesterday – I hope this sneak peak is enough to get you through! We’ll be in touch about the rest of your images. Thanks for being so great- Hope Ms. B was tucked out for you!!
Hugs,
Keri :)

Wonder where this peanut gets her good looks!! :)

Isn’t that the cutest ‘I love you Daddy’ look you’ve ever seen- It melted my heart when she looked up at her Dad like that – it was as if she knew just who he was!

Oh and those piggies!  Couldn’t escape those!! Look at her wide awake just relaxin’ with her feet up! Girl after my own heart these days…. :-P

Thanks guys!! Big Hugs! oxox..

Rock Climbers! aka Brothers!

September 8th, 2008 , Posted in uncategorized

This afternoon I headed back to the beach to play with some kiddos I had the pleasure of photographing last year.  I can’t believe how big they got!  I guess thats what happens when a few months pass without seeing them, right!  Well needless to say, they were cute as ever and were definitely more adventurous then I’ve ever been!  They were like little monkey’s climbing all around the rocks.  Good thing they are so experienced and know just how to do it – Maybe thats just being a boy!  :)

Mr. N was like a perfect model – he knew just how to turn on that charm – Check it out …

And don’t be mistaken – Mr. C was following close behind – Can you believe he didnt like looking at my camera and was more interested in climbing?  Fooled me too!  Gotta be fast with those little guys!

And just when they thought I wasn’t looking – BAMN! Caught ‘em goofing around — those are my favorite moments! Don’t they look like the best of friends!!  I love that :)

Thanks again you guys – It was so good to see you  - I had so much fun watching you climb around!  I hope you weren’t too wet for the car ride home after the end of the session swim!!

We’ll be in touch!
Keri :)
