About Keri
My name is Keri. I am married to my best friend, Rick. We have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Jackson David, who is the love of our lives! I love the beach. My favorite colors are pink and yellow. I believe in angels. I have sang my son ‘You Are My Sunshine’ every single day since the day he was born -including the first hour he was in my arms. I love my hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. Photography and children are my two passions. I have been living my dream since becoming a wife and a mommy – they are the two most important things I have ever done in my life. I wish on shooting stars. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. The best advice I ever got said ‘follow your bliss’
…..Ever since I can remember when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always responded ‘I want to be a Mom!’ Sometimes they would would respond, ‘No, really, what do you want to be…’ ‘A Mom,’ I’d reply! It is the most important job in the world and I couldnt wait to grow up to become a wife and a Mom! Some people dream of a big career, a doctor or lawyer, all of which are amazing professions. But something in me knew I was born to be a Mom.
Although I have always known I wanted to be a mom there were other things I did before we welcomed our son into the world.
I went to college at Keene State in Keene, NH. I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology – with a specialty in counseling children. After I graduated, I decided to take a little different route and go back to another thing I love – teaching. I got my Masters in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Boston. I taught 1st grade just before my son was born.
My husband and I were married January 21, 2006. We were blessed with our son, Jackson David, on June 1, 2006!! He is the light of our life and we feel incredibly blessed to be chosen as his parents. Becoming a Mom was truly everything I dreamed it would be. It was difficult as any parent will attest to- but worth every second of it! The look your child gives you, no matter how exhausted you are, melts you into 1000 pieces! Nothing is better then that
We have been giving a second blessing that we are anxiously awaiting for her arrival of a new baby girl – She will make her appearance October 2008
I have been given so many gifts and God has blessed our family with so many wonderful people around us. We have had such wonderful memories so far, I cant wait to see what is waiting for us in the future!
