One of the greatest compliments I receive is when my fantastic clients refer me to their friends and family.  I consider it such an honor when I get referrals because I know that my clients must have had a wonderful experience with me – enough that they want to share my experience with people they care about.  I love getting to know so many people and it makes it so much more exciting when everyone seems to know each other :)    This adorable family came to me from a previous client and I’m so glad Joanna passed along my name!

We were about to head out the weekend before but the rain had another plan for us so we reschedule.  I’m so glad we did because the day we ended up having our session was perfect!  With such a happy family, my job was pretty easy! That is, if you don’t count the dodging of three weddings, two engagement sessions and 3 family sessions all going on at the same time at the park we were at!  Just kept me on my toes ;)

Check out this cute little face! Ms. Emma knows exactly how to turn on the charm at just the right time.

Remember this little tiny man…Baby J? Well, he is the son to that beautiful Mom up in the banner playing in the leaves in her wedding dress!  See where he gets all his good looks ;)

Well, he has since grown into a big brother, as his family just welcomed sweet baby Jake! I got to spend this morning with both of their sweet little faces. I just loved listening to all of Jakes tiny squeals and squishy noises.  I forget how many little noises the newborns make until a session like this comes along when I just want to scoop them up and bring them home! I’m not sure Jackson and Molly would like that very much — not to mention, this proud Mom and Dad and big brother wouldn’t let me steal him anyways.  But how can you blame me.. With faces like these, you’d want to take them both home too, right?!

Big Brother Jimmy!

It was so great to spend the morning with you again! I can’t wait to get the rest of the images to you, but until then hopefully these will get you through!

Family love. |Reading, MA newborn and family photographer | keri schimpf

Last week I spent the morning with such a wonderful family! As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed – I felt like I had known them forever.  It’s always so exciting to me when I get to share in the first few memories of a new family as they welcome their newest blessing.  Watching the love siblings have for this new baby, watching parents watch their kids, watching the gift they all embrace together is such an honor.  This family was no exception – it really was a beautiful thing.

One of the best parts of this session was watching the way Rowan and Kyla are the best of friends.  They actually really reminded me of my two kids!  We spent some time reading books and telling stories and then we headed outside for a few games of Red-light — Green-light!  It didn’t take long for the two of them to catch on and before I knew it they were too quick for me.  Then we headed in and I got some quiet time with sweet baby Maeve.  Lauren and Mike were saying how she hadn’t been that awake, ever!  That is always the way isn’t it – when we want them to sleep they are awake and when we want them to be awake they are asleep!  The three kiddos were so great – I loved getting to spend time with each of them. With sweet faces like these, how can you blame me!
