Saturday morning I started the day catching up with this sweet family, and it made me feel like time is flying by!  When I was 6 years old, Merry, this adorable little man’s Mommy, was my babysitter!  My Mom put an add in the local newspaper for a babysitter and Merry answered it!  After countless hours of babysitting, and even a bit of guidance through high school and college, we have maintained a special bond over the years.  I can’t believe we are now Mom’s ourselves – but so grateful we get to share this journey together, now!

Merry and Chuck, it was so fantastic to catch up with you – It’s been too long! Congratulations on your amazing little blessed boy – he is wonderful!  Don’t blink – It goes so fast!

Come see us on Wednesday, Feb. 9th from 1pm until 3pm or Saturday, Feb. 12th from 12 noon until 3pm for a mini session – just in time for valentines day! You will get a free 5×7 print – 10% off any future booking if we book you that day – and 10% off any valentines day cards or prints you order from our mini session. **Note – there is no session fee for this model mini session, but you will be asked to sign a model release so we may use your image for future promotions!

The fine print:
*open to 6 months – 10 years old children.
*sessions will last 20 minutes.

Last fall I was a part of a fantastic opportunity for Be the Match.  My sweet friend Charlotte is on the bone marrow transplant list and we had a raffle for all those that came out to the screening. This wonderful family was the lucky winner!  When Andie first contacted me I knew we’d have an awesome session.  She was so excited to finally have some photographs of her two blessings I knew we’d have an instant connection (after all, that’s how I feel about my two little munchkins!)  Although her two are a little older than mine, you can see the love on her face when she glances at them – Nothing more magical than a Mother’s love for her kids.

I met this great family of four at one of my most favorite session locations – Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA.  The weather was perfect – it was a crisp fall afternoon.  We had some beautiful golden light that drenched all of them as we traveled around on the grounds.  We headed out to capture these moments of their family today. just as they are. and never will be again. kids as they are. family as they are. love as it is. Between soccer kicks and catching the lacrosse ball we got some fantastic shots… Check them out..

One of the greatest compliments I receive is when my fantastic clients refer me to their friends and family.  I consider it such an honor when I get referrals because I know that my clients must have had a wonderful experience with me – enough that they want to share my experience with people they care about.  I love getting to know so many people and it makes it so much more exciting when everyone seems to know each other    This adorable family came to me from a previous client and I’m so glad Joanna passed along my name!

We were about to head out the weekend before but the rain had another plan for us so we reschedule.  I’m so glad we did because the day we ended up having our session was perfect!  With such a happy family, my job was pretty easy! That is, if you don’t count the dodging of three weddings, two engagement sessions and 3 family sessions all going on at the same time at the park we were at!  Just kept me on my toes

I’ve been trying to play catch up over the last few weeks and I know this amazing family has been waiting for their Blog Sneak Peek! I absolutely love when I get to catch up with previous clients..aka..friends!  It is always so exciting to see how much everyone  has changed since our last session.  A few weeks ago, I had the honor of spending the afternoon sunlight with my little friends Charlotte and Trey (and of course their fantastic Mom and Dad!)  We headed out by the water to catch some memories that keeps the heart as warm as this sunshine..  Check out the love …
