Glowing.  In every sense of the word.  This stunning Mom (and Dad!) to be are absolutely adorable. We were blessed with one of the most beautiful days of this year so far this past Saturday -  54 Degrees and blue skies – can you ask for anything more!

So we headed down to the waterfront in Newburyport and decided to do the majority of our session out there.  The historic feel of the city matched with the excitement of these parents to be made for a rockin’ session!

Jessica was rockin' these fantastic red shoes! I was so excited I saw what she was going to wear -- Love this shot!

Check it out – My work displayed! ||Boston Massachusetts Newborn : Children : Family Lifestyle Photographer

I am so excited and so very grateful for this opportunity.

After I had Molly I spoke with the wonderful people at my OBGYN’s office and asked them if they might be interested in allowing me to decorate their office with my images.  They had just finished renovating and with a blank canvas I thought my images would be a nice compliment to their waiting room, exam rooms and hallways.  Lucky for me, they fell in love with my images and style and were gracious and kind and allowed me to pick 16 images to display in their Danvers office.  They have asked me to display my work in two other locations as well.. super exciting! :)
I chose images that were mostly newborns and toddlers given the location and I couldn’t be happier with the way they look!  The best part is some of the images are actually from patients of the office – I always get text messages or emails when a Mom goes in and gets to see her little blessings photograph on the wall.  It warms my heart to know how happy it makes them :)

Check out some snapshots of just the waiting room I took today while dropping off more cards with all my information… (there were supposed to be three images per wall but they ended up moving some around so they could add them to the exam rooms instead..)

Greatest job in the world…

May 6th, 2009 , Posted in boston massachusetts infant photographer, clients, friends, massachusetts child photographer, massachusetts maternity photographer, massachusetts newborn photographer, massachusetts toddler photographer, motherhood, photography

In honor of our favorite bedtime book at the moment:

Although I believe I have the greatest job in the world (giving families the gift of their memories to have forever – how amazing, right!) – But, there is one other job that is even better.. being a Mom.

As we all know, I think being a Mom is an incredible honor and blessing.  Although there are many important amazing jobs out there, I think being a Mom the most important job in the world.    I think it is nothing short of a miracle when a baby is born. I think it is such an honor to be trusted with these little souls that you are responsible for – to grow, to teach, to learn from, to leave the world a better place.  Amazing, isn’t it!

Now, just because its amazing doesn’t mean it’s easy. Truth be told, its THE HARDEST job on the planet really.  This quote was given to me when I was a nanny but it translates to the role of a mommy as well, don’t you think?

What is a Mom: activities director, teacher, dresser, beautician, nutritionist, chef, hygienist, janitor, nurse, dramatic reader, performer, entertainer, costume maker, arts and crafts instructor, dance partner, chauffeur and stroller-pusher, personal shopper, secretary, historian, detective, confidant, companion, counselor, coach, bodyguard, self-defense instructor, tutor, cheerleader, appreciative, audience, hugger, boo-boo kisser, potty trainer, learner, listener, helper, peace keeper, lifelong influence, shaper of the future.

I bet all you Moms out there agree, don’t you? – AND you Dad’s should be nodding your head yes as well! :)

So why the gushy post about being a Mommy – Well to have a giveaway of course! Thats right – a giveaway for a Mommy who deserves it!  I know how fast these days with my little ones go – Somedays I just want to bottle it up and keep them this way forever… At least with my photographs I can do that… and now, you might be able to also!

and baby makes three…|boston newborn photographer

April 7th, 2009 , Posted in clients, friends, massachusetts maternity photographer, massachusetts newborn photographer, photography

Remember this beautiful Mom-to-be?!  Well, her little man has finally made his debut! The ‘Apple’ family is now a family of THREE!  Mr. Nicholas is finally here and already has his mommy in the palm of his tiny hand! :) With a face like his, can you blame her!?  I had the pleasure of spending my morning (and a little of my afternoon because we were so chatty! ha!) with this little man and his mom and dad.  As with their maternity session, it was a joy to spend the day with them – I just love when clients become friends :)
Check out the tiny little handsome guy…

He is already rockin’ the mohawk! Watch out for when he’s 13 trying to rock that ;)

the best seat in the house!

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak — we’ll be in touch!

Enjoy him. It will go so fast…

Much love,
Keri :)

anxiously awaiting …

February 28th, 2009 , Posted in massachusetts maternity photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting the most beautiful and sweetest mother-to-be today.  Kierstin (and her husband Chris!) are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their blessing Nicholas!  With just 5 weeks left (can you believe she looks this amazing with only 5 weeks left!?!!) we were able to capture some of the precious time while Nicholas is growing big and strong baking in the oven!

How awesome is this!  One of Kierstin’s friends had this made – its the little man on there! (apple is a nickname!)

Kierstin had her ‘wing-man’ sister up to share in the memories.. Aren’t they so beautiful!! With genes like that, Nicholas is going to be one with the ladies :)  What an adoring aunt!  I was just saying to these two that I don’t typically show both black and white and color of many images  - its usually one or the other… well this one was too tough to pick – so here is both! :)

Because I knew how much Kierstin wanted to have Chris share in ‘the belly shot!’ I had to put it up in the sneak peak! And because I couldn’t decide which image to sneak peak – here are both as well! :)

Can you hear the happiness jumping out of Kierstin’s heart!! What a glow she has, right!

Thank you so much for spending the afternoon with me – You guys were so much fun!  Kierstin, you look amazing and have such a warm soul I know you are going to be a wonderful Mom!  Chris, I hope it wasn’t too painful to participate :)  Much love to all of you.. Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks for Nicholas’ debut!!
