Last week I spent the morning with such a wonderful family! As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed – I felt like I had known them forever.  It’s always so exciting to me when I get to share in the first few memories of a new family as they welcome their newest blessing.  Watching the love siblings have for this new baby, watching parents watch their kids, watching the gift they all embrace together is such an honor.  This family was no exception – it really was a beautiful thing.

One of the best parts of this session was watching the way Rowan and Kyla are the best of friends.  They actually really reminded me of my two kids!  We spent some time reading books and telling stories and then we headed outside for a few games of Red-light — Green-light!  It didn’t take long for the two of them to catch on and before I knew it they were too quick for me.  Then we headed in and I got some quiet time with sweet baby Maeve.  Lauren and Mike were saying how she hadn’t been that awake, ever!  That is always the way isn’t it – when we want them to sleep they are awake and when we want them to be awake they are asleep!  The three kiddos were so great – I loved getting to spend time with each of them. With sweet faces like these, how can you blame me!

Just when you are starting to wonder what to get for all those wonderful men in your life for Father’s Day,  I am excited to announce a Father’s Day mini session!  This is a perfect session if you’re looking for a few beautiful updated pictures of the kids for Dad’s office, Grandpa’s wallet or even just for the house!  These mini sessions includes 30 minutes of shooting time,  (2) 8×10’s (3) 5×7’s and (8) wallets. If you would prefer Dad or Grandpa be in the session we have gift certificates available as well!  Please contact Keri for details.

I was lucky enough to meet this family two years ago. When they made the jump from three, to four. Just a few weeks ago they made the jump again, from four to five little blessings.  I cant’ believe how fast they are growing up.  It is an honor and a priviledge to watch my clients families grow up right in front of my eyes and my camera.  Just one of the gazillion reasons I love my job.  I am blessed.

This sweet little family just welcomed their newest blessing last week.  Ms. Vivian is welcomed by her big brother Ethan and proud Mom and Dad as well as grandparents on both sides of the country! Their family of three has just jumped to a family of four and although its a bit of an adjustment, I have no doubt they will be settled in no time!

It was so wonderful to share the afternoon with all of you – and “Grammy — Mimi” too!  We’ll be in touch as soon as the rest of your gallery is ready!
